An exhilarating day tour on a state of the art electric mountain bike, exploring the inner valleys and landscapes of Siglufjörður in North Iceland. The tour is especially tailored to suit beginners as well as more experienced bikers. You still need to spin the pedals, but the handy e-bike motors will have you cruising up the hills and accessing amazing places with ease.
Tour description
The tour starts at the Sóti Summits office in the center of Siglufjörður, right on the main square.
We’ll begin with a short introduction to the e-bikes before heading out of town on the hunt for enjoyable trails, interesting landmarks and spectacular views. We’ll take plenty of photo stops and perhaps even learn a few things about Iceland and the fjord along the way.
Example route for 3 hr trip: Siglufjörður – Hólsdalur – Forestry – Hvanneyrarskál – Siglufjörður.
