Three days of wellness and relaxation, with rejuvenating floatation exercises in thermal Icelandic water, oxygenating walks in North Icelands autumn colors and nourishing visits to local producers.

Spring. The days are lengthening and we begin to raise our faces to the warming sunlight. As we shake off winter’s cobwebs, why not treat yourself to a rejuvenating experience in the fresh countryside air?

Sóti Summits invites you to a three day visit to Fljótin, to celebrate life and companionship.

Nourishing experiences

We take easy and uplifting walks in the neighborhood, learning about our regions history. We go for a tour, where the emphasis is on introducing the best that Troll Peninsula offers in food and drink. Last but not least, we make use of our local geothermal pool next door to Sóti Lodge to find balance and rejuvenation.

In the evenings a delicious three course meal awaits us at the lodge, where we create an atmosphere of companionship, harmony and happiness.

The Fljót region in Skagafjörður

The Fljót region is a region characterized by water, as its name implies, referring both to the presence of a multitude of rivers and lakes. Fljót also refers to the activity of floating, and in this tour we emphasise both.

We will meet the waterways and lakes in our neighborhood, contemplate the Arctic Ocean spreading out before us and how the presence of all this water has shaped the lives of the people that have lived here throughout the ages. We will enjoy the water that flows beneath us in veins of geothermal springs, and immerse ourselves in its warmth.

Book now and let yourself flow between the seasons of Iceland.

Itinerary

Friday

After guests have checked in, we will take a short walk from the lodge, reading our surroundings and getting acquainted. We then visit Barðslaug geothermal pool for the first time and end our first day with a delicious three course meal.

Saturday

After a relaxed breakfast and a soft stroll to wake ourselves up, will take a tour around the region, visiting local producers, historical places and Siglufjörður – Iceland’s northernmost town. The final itinerary is adapted to weather and availability, but we have a wealth of choice when it comes to local production: local cheese and meat production at Brúnastaðir farm, the Segull 67 brewery  and more.

We end the day as before, with a relaxing visit to our pool and a delicious evening meal at our lodge.

Sunday

On our final day, we have the opportunity to visit the pool either before or after breakfast. An optional introductory tour on e-mountain bikes is offered (additional costs apply, weather-dependent), in which we visit the settlement of Haganesvík at the edge of the Arctic Ocean. For those who choose this, a light meal awaits before departure.
