Ólöf Ýrr og Arnar Þór
Owners of Sóti Summits
In the autumn of 2015, Arnar Þór Árnason and Ólöf Ýrr Atladóttir purchased the old school building at Sólgarðar in the beautiful region of Fljót. The main attractions were the tremendous access to nature and the outdoors that the place provided, but they also harboured a dream of offering high-quality lodgings for like-minded visitors craving natural experiences, adventure, tranquility – and a place to breathe.
Our aim is to offer a haven for our guests along the Arctic Coastway, while providing keys to immersive experiences in the great outdoors of the Troll Peninsula and the beautiful region of Fljót to explorers near and far. We base our operations on ambitions of responsible and sustainable tourism, sourcing local food, local know-how, and local adventure.

Megan Iley
Activity and Experience Manager
Originally from the UK, Meg moved to Iceland on a whim in 2019 and has been here ever since. A northerner at heart, she moved to the Troll peninsula in 2021 and was immediately captivated with everything the area has to offer.
Meg organises both group and individual bookings, and liaises with companies and individuals to plan their perfect trip in north Iceland.
A qualified and experienced guide in various disciplines, she also enjoys spending summer days outside running our hiking, e-mountain bike and Örkin tours (usually not all at once).
